Dr. Subramanian Karthikesh’s doctoral research focuses on developing integrated laser/ultrasound platforms for diagnostic and therapeutic applications for melanoma, age-related macular degeneration, and stroke. Dr. Subramanian Karthikesh was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan, where her work focused on clinical translation of ionizing radiation acoustic imaging (IRAI) for real-time visualization of radiation dose delivery during radiotherapy. Dr. Subramanian Karthikesh has expertise in digital image processing and statistical analysis, with applications spanning microscopy, preclinical imaging, and clinical data interpretation. Dr. Subramanian Karthikesh is also an invited reviewer for multiple scientific journals and actively promotes collaborative and translational research.
