• MCT lab has a suite in Gray-Little Hall Room B105C for sample preparation. KU’s Department of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) has assessed the risks of and evaluated our competence in the use of hazardous chemicals with respect to safety and compliance per university policy and procedures, as well as standard and hazardous chemical safety practices.
• MAI has a certified fume hood in Gray-Little Hall Room B105C for use in the preparation of materials.
• KU’s EHS has assessed the risks of and evaluated our competence in the use of laser systems and non-beam hazards with respect to safety and compliance per university policy and procedures, as well as standard laser systems and non-beam hazards safety practices. This assessment covers all laser-based instruments and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy work.
